Malaysia Blockchain Association (MBA) and Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre (MaGIC) have launched a new program designed for blockchain enthusiasts seeking to learn about the different components of blockchain technology. The program aims to raise awareness about the application of blockchain technology in various business sectors. During the Blockchain Researcher Lab launch ceremony, Dato Rayson Wong, President of the Malaysia Blockchain Association, emphasized that the development of blockchain requires strong government support, which is why he is grateful to the Malaysian Entrepreneur Development Minister (MED) for contributing to the scheme. The Exploration Lab is a highlight of the program, which allows researchers to experiment with different cryptography algorithms, consensus mechanisms, and even run their blockchain solutions. Tan Ji Sheng, TriveAcademy founder, explained that the program's main objective is to cultivate more blockchain professionals while encouraging small and medium-sized enterprises and innovation teams to better understand blockchain technology. MaGIC aims to create a collaborative entrepreneurship ecosystem by connecting startups, corporates, investors, academics, and the government to build sustainable industries that are competitive in the economies of the future. The organization aims to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary tools, skills, and capabilities to succeed, create a sustainable environment, and connect new ideas to capital and markets more effectively.
