What we do

Building Malaysia's blockchain ecosystem

The Malaysia Blockchain Association is a non-profit industry body established to promote and develop the blockchain industry in Malaysia — fostering collaboration and innovation, and supporting the growth of blockchain-related businesses across the country.

Promoting Blockchain Adoption
We believe that blockchain technology has the potential to transform the way businesses and industries operate in Malaysia. That's why we're committed to promoting the adoption of blockchain technology by educating businesses, policymakers, and the public about its benefits and potential applications. We provide resources, information, and guidance to help businesses understand how they can integrate blockchain into their existing systems and processes.
Developing Blockchain Talent
The growth of the blockchain industry in Malaysia depends on having a skilled workforce of developers, engineers, and professionals who can design, develop, and deploy blockchain-based solutions. That's why we're committed to developing talent in the blockchain industry by providing training, education, and certification programs. We work with educational institutions and industry experts to provide our members with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the blockchain industry.
Fostering Innovation
At the MBA, we believe that innovation is key to driving the growth and development of the blockchain industry in Malaysia. That's why we're committed to fostering innovation by bringing together entrepreneurs, innovators, and investors in the blockchain industry. We provide funding opportunities, organize hackathons and other events, and facilitate networking to help our members develop new and innovative blockchain-based products, services, and applications.
Advocating for policy
The regulatory environment surrounding blockchain technology is still evolving in Malaysia. That's why we're committed to advocating for policies that encourage innovation and adoption in the blockchain industry. We work with policymakers and regulators to create a supportive regulatory environment that provides clarity on the legal and regulatory frameworks surrounding blockchain technology. We also address issues such as data privacy, security, and consumer protection to help build trust in the blockchain industry.
